"Virtual Bonator" is a PC software and was converted from the firmware of the original Bonator into a Windows program. So it
is possible to load the virtual version of the portable BONATOR hospitality computer on
your PC-desktop in order to use all its comfortable functions either by keyboard,
mouse or touchscreen. Of course virtualBonator has also the capability to communicate with
the original portable Bonator, respectively vice versa - you are able to process the
resulting data of the original Bonator on a traditional PC.
typical application arises for instance in a hotel-restaurant. For such a company
its wise to use on the terrace and in the restaurant area the portable
Bonator with radio, in the bar the original stationary
Bonator, and in the reception as well in the office the virtual PC based version, as
the figure shows above. This configuration provides the same performance of operation in
every division what minimises time necessary to train employees and enables also a
flexible staff management.

This software reads in the accumulated data of the Bonator cash register system and
controls the item turnover by defined recipes including administration of ingredients,
purchases, and suppliers. So with only few keystrokes it is possible to query the actual
stock of ingredients, or to print out correct order suggestions including the
corresponding purchase conditions.
The same program assists
also the kitchen, as it generates practical tips for the preparation of foods what leads
into a significant improvement of the quality output. Moreover the calculation module
makes it easier to determine the correct sales price, and provides also nutrition facts of
the various foods and beverages.
The registered proceeds and results of the Bonator cash register system can be entered
full-, or semiautomatically in the bookkeeping, and assigned there to the proper accounts.
In the same way the entered purchases of ingredients as well the cash flows are
transferred. A payroll accounting is also included in the software.
This software organises among other things the reservation of rooms, customer contacts and
the administration of the BonusChip room keys. Concerning check out, the software takes
over automatically the guests consummation of the restaurant, etc. and adds the
amount to his room account.
The optional BonusChip
administration modul organises the cashless payments including the placing of access
rights to the facilities offered with costs, as well the time-related identification of
employees and guests.
